<br />Mr. Crow joined with Ms. Mullins in congratulating Gabe Fleisher on his published book. <br />He stated that one could also sign up for Gabe Fleisher’s daily email updates on his <br />Wakeup Politics email. Mr. Crow asked for an update on the results of the Governmental <br />Relations lobbying firm in Washington DC, used by the City. He also asked for an update <br />on where the City was on the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker said he would provide information on the lobbying firm and as far as the City <br />Attorney there were seven submissions in response to the RFQ that are in the process of <br />being reviewed. The selection committee will consist of Mr. Walker, Police Chief Charles <br />Adams, the Building Commissioner and the City Clerk, who are those who use the City <br />Attorney primarily from an administrative point of view. He will ultimately be coming to <br />Council for a contract approval for one of the firms. <br /> <br />th <br />Mayor Welsch reminded everyone of the Memorial Day run coming up, May 27 and that <br />you can get more details at ucitymemorialdayrun.com. She noted a free health screening <br />th <br />at the library on Saturday May 18 sponsored by Health Protection and Education <br />Services; a fund raiser for veterans this upcoming Wednesday at the Market Pub House; <br />a reception for the Arts and Letters Photo show this upcoming Sunday at the Library; the <br />U City Symphony Orchestra will be playing on Sunday at All Saints church and the Mount <br />Gideon Senior choir will be singing Sunday at a free concert – both of those concerts at <br />3pm. Mayor Welsch said in a few minutes the Council would be starting a study session <br />in the back of the chamber on the Fiscal Year 2014 budget. <br /> <br />Q.
