Applicant: It will be removed <br />and replaced with a Versa-Lock retaining wall. <br /> <br />Ms. Schmidt made a motion to recommend approval of the proposed renovation of 735 <br />Westgate Avenue. He stated he would <br />like to see something done to give the Historic Preservation Commission more <br />authority, rather than being an advisory committee. He stated that perhaps it could be <br />more like other cities so the Commission is more involved in the review process. <br /> <br />Comments from Commission members: <br /> <br />- Recalled previous discussion about an Architectural Review Board. Discussion <br />about potential for developing an Architectural Review Board. <br /> <br />No further comments from the public. <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens informed the Commission about recent approvals for the Loop Trolley <br />project. <br /> <br />5.
