Ms. Carr said that this form was not personal as they actually took a look at forms from other
cities with the three subcommittee members discussing them. She said they dropped the ball
on the objectives but she has no way of ranking someone else’s set of objectives.

Mr. Walker encouraged Ms. Carr to look at last year’s ratings on the performance evaluation
forms. He noted there was one member of Council that rated him substandard in every
category and considered that a complete and utter insult and a lie.

Ms. Carr said the subcommittee’s proposed form was designed for generic people and were not
thinking of anyone specifically as Ms. Pumm but rather the City Clerk. She said this was the
subcommittee’s task and was not personal nor were the discussions.

Mr. Sharpe asked where they go from here.

Mayor Welsch since it was 6:29, Council would have to schedule another meeting. Mr. Glickert
said the subcommittee could get together again and the City Clerk could provide us with the
minutes beforehand to digest. The subcommittee can take everyone’s comments into
consideration and tweak these evaluation forms.

The study session adjourned at 6:30 P.M.

Joyce Pumm, MRCC/CMC
City Clerk
4
