<br /> <br /> MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />July 8, 2013 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City <br />Hall, on Monday, July 8, 2013, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:31 <br />p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price arrived at 6:50 p.m. <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch spoke of the passing of Mr. Frank Hankin, the City’s Municipal Judge for the <br />past twenty years. For the record she said his service to the City was appreciated and she <br />plans to do something more formal to recognize his service at a future meeting of the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Ms. Carr asked to add to the agenda a sub-committee report on the staff evaluation <br />forms. She asked that it be on the agenda at every meeting under Council Business <br />until the committee finishes its work on the forms. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft asked for a Point of Information stating there is already a liaison report on the <br />agenda and asked what the item was Ms. Carr wanted to add. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr noted that there were some members of Council who wanted to discuss the <br />evaluation form, as it never came before the sub-committee. Ms. Carr stated that <br />since they were a standing committee in progress, they should be giving a report on <br />what they have done at every meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft said it was his understanding then that Ms. Carr would present just a report <br />and there would be no discussion or vote. He said he would have no objection to that. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the amended agenda, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe <br />and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D.
