Mayor Welsch said it was not ideal but the roundabout came <br />before Council as part of the Trolley project, so all of the Federal approvals are tied in <br />with that project. <br />Mr. Glickert asked if it was passed that there would be a concerted effort made on an <br />educational component of how to drive around a roundabout. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson said they have handouts and the “Patch” has included the article numerous <br />times in the “Patch”. He noted one thing, the final roundabout center truck circle will <br />have a two-inch raised curb, where cars will be forced to drive the circle and not cut <br />straight through, thus reducing their speed. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked if the fire department was consulted with and if the fire trucks had <br />any problem negotiating it.
