Mr. Cotton seccr~___ed__ the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Prisoner Transport Van (#1). Invitations to bid on a new prisoner transport <br />van for the Police De~3rtment, incl,~ing trade-in on vehicle #30, were sent <br />to 10 ~]ers, with the followir~ response: <br /> <br />Ackerman (hevrolet <br />Butler Chevrolet <br /> <br />$16,830.71 $3,000 $13,930.71 <br />16,609.00 2,900 13,709.00 <br /> <br />It was rer.~.,,me_."~led that this vehicle be purubased f~L, Butler(~avrolet for <br />their lowbid of $13,709.00. <br /> <br />Lion Gate Restoration Desiota Services (#2). ~ City Council previously au- <br />thorized the ex/agement of Kimble A. Oohn to advise t_ha city on restoration <br />of the lion gate pylons as c~lat~ in the recently approved bo~d issue. <br />Approval of a contract for services ranging f~ a~d~itect, project coordina- <br />tor, conservator and other professicPal support with b~urly rates for each <br />resulting in an estimated $9,470 total cc~t was r~r~.,.!ema~a~ Mr. Coh~ has <br />been closely associated with this project since its inception. <br /> <br /> <br />
