As part of the festival, the ~ Art and Food <br />Walk is scheduled for Sunday f~um 2 to 5 p.m. with m~lnts, exhibitors, re- <br />tailers and restaurants setting up a~plays c~ Loop sidewalks. It was reccm- <br />mended that Council ~L~n't perm~.~icm to the District to utilize the Delmar <br />sidewalks for this special event. <br /> <br />Bcrd Issue - Water Supply for Trees/Ia~ing. Civic Plaza (#2). Mr. Schooner ~ the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus L~Ldrr]ed Council that the Loop Arts Festival will begin with a <br />parade on Saturday, and any councilmenher wishin~ to take part should report <br />to the C~L..~ce Bank parking lot at 12:45 p.m. She encouraged all to attend. <br /> <br />The City Manager said a public being was scheduled for 7:30 this date and <br />place to C~nSir~r o_~ments on the rates, performance, and services of Conti- <br />nental o~hlevision. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Kimberley T~u~bly said forms were filed last fall to <br />enable University City to regulate local cable television, and rates char~ed <br />by Continental ~blevision are now being reviewed. Citizens have this oppor- <br />tunity to oc~rfc; after the review process is ccBlcluded, there will be an- <br />other public hearirK3. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked if Ccmtinental will continue to support CALOP (C~,~ittee for <br />Ax:x:x~ss and Local Origination Programming). Ma.
