Mr. Schoceer seccrded the motion, which carried unanlmcusly. Mrs. Scbm~n moved that Mrs. Maria Pinckney, 1412 Partridge, be appoin~a to the Municipal Oa,..{~ic~ c~ Arts and I~tters for an ~ired term eralng January 2, 1998. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanlmcusly. Mr. Wagner rrmminated Mr. Jeffrey Suess, 7432 Tulane, as a menbet of the FAuli- cipal Cce~dssic~ ~1 Arts and Letters for an unexpired term ending Jam,~y 2, 1995. Mr. Sc~ocmer seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. OATHS OF O~'~'J,~ Ms. Tracy Mathis and Ms. Su Schmalz, both recently reappointed to the Board of Appeals, were given the oath of office by the City Clerk. O Mayor Majerus thanked Ma. Mathis and Ma. Sdmelz for being willing to serve again on this board that is so vitally important to the City.
