<br />Mr. Greatens stated that the memo distributed was from the Department of Public Works and <br />Parks to provide an update on the proposed roundabout. He stated that at the May meeting there <br />was discussion about ways the roundabout could better fit into the historic context of the Civic <br />Plaza and comments were made including the symmetry of the roundabout. He stated that the <br />memo was prepared to provide an update to the Historic Preservation Commission and that their <br />comments were heard and there had been some preliminary work done to retrofit the roundabout <br />design as shown on the third page of the memo. This was not a request for design review but <br />just to bring to the attention of the Commission. Mr. Greatens added that the roundabout did still <br />have to come back to the Historic Preservation Commission for final approval. <br /> <br />3.b. Public Comments <br /> <br />There were no requests for public comments. <br /> <br />4. Nomination and election of Vice-Chairperson <br /> <br />Ms. North nominated Ms. Marin to serve as Vice-Chairperson. The nomination was seconded <br />by Mr. Wesenberg. The nomination of Ms. Marin to serve as Vice-Chairperson was approved <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5.
