Staff from all City departments volun <br />b.Michael Glickert <br />(1)Development is still continuing in the City, including the Washi <br />housing and retail project and the new fire station in the east area. Walgreens and a new <br />preschool are underway in the southwest area. The apartments on Delcrest Drive are still <br />moving along in the northwest section of the City. <br />(2)Council approved five more Habitat for Humanity homes in the northeast area of the City. <br />(3)There has been some interest in developing the vacant property a <br />Olive. The new wellness business across the street will open soo <br />MERS Goodwill is building a new facility. <br />c.Helen Fuller <br />(1)The Garden Tour is on September 22, 2013 from 1 to 5 pm. The dedication for the new <br />gardens at Pershing Elementary is scheduled from 3:30 to 5 pm. Attendees can enjoy free <br />snow cones during the event. The tour will end with wine and cheese served at the bird <br />habitat garden at Centennial Commons. <br />d.Scott Eidson <br />(1)He met with Jared Agee to discuss some of the initiatives on the. <br />They discussed new ideas and reviewed the current policies in place.
