Geoz~eR. <br />Mr. Joseph L. ~a~, Jr., <br />Mr. ~obertG. Wagner <br />Mrs. MaryV. Sd~man <br />Mr. PaulE. Schocmmr <br /> <br />,Mr. Adams arrived at 8:02 p.m. and Mrs. ~ec~ arrived at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Also present were City Manager Frank Ollendorff, Finance Director Willie Nor- <br />fleet, and Assistant City Manager Kimberley ~,-,~ly. <br /> <br />The public was invited to attend the meeting as observers. ~ 1994-95 City <br />~w%jet was the only subject a~cussed. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus thanked Mr. Olleldorff and Mr. Norfleet for again making the <br />most of the City's tax dollars. <br /> <br />~ City Manager referred to page A-3, P~u~/~y Tax Rate, noting that Debt <br />Service Fund amounts will be filled in after the bora sale and the actual tax <br /> <br />by c~e cent to $0.31, the highest allowed by law. He also point~5_ out the <br />Tahral~ Board's letter, which eMplains their budget and the few changes made <br />for 1994-95. Council has final approval of the T.{hrary buck/et. <br /> <br />Returning to page A-3, Mr. Cotteal asked about the footnote for Uniformed ~n- <br />ployees Pensic~ Fund, which says no taxes are n__~t~ea___ to maintain the fund al- <br />though $.02 is shown in the ~hle. Mr. Ollendorff said the plan is fully <br /> <br />$.02 left in so there is m0~ey available for pensio~ im~rovemerfcs. Mrs. <br />Sch~an asked what effect Hancock II would have if it beomBs law.
