<br />Mr. Sharpe stated that he would like to take this opportunity to thank the Council and the <br />city for their superb support during his recent bereavement. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert said that he just wanted to say thanks to the good citizens who had invited him <br />and a couple of his colleagues to their block party, which was held yesterday on Stanford. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch announced the following events: <br />th <br />October 26 <br /> <br /> The Fourth Annual Make a Difference Day which is a national day of service. Sign <br />up is at Centennial Commons at 8 a.m., and there are a variety of service projects <br />that people can be involved in. For more questions please contact the Community <br />Development Department. <br /> <br /> Casino Night at the Brentmoor <br />thth <br />October 26 and 27 <br /> <br /> A two day international cyclocross bike race that brings professional bikers from the <br />around the world to Heman Park. <br /> <br />Q.
