<br /> <br />Traffic Commission <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 505-8560, Fax: (314) 862-0694 <br />CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY MINUTES OF THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />September 11, 2013 <br /> <br />At the Traffic Commission meeting of University City held in the Heman Park Community Center, <br />on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Commissioner Carol Wofsey called the meeting to order <br />at 6:35 p.m. In addition to Commissioner Wofsey, the following members of the commission <br />were present: <br /> <br /> <br /> Stefany Brot <br /> <br /> Curtis Tunstall <br /> <br /> Jeff Hales <br /> <br /> Jackie Womack <br /> <br />Also in attendance: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Paulette Carr <br /> <br /> Police Department Representative P.O. Approval of Minutes July 10, 2013 <br /> <br />Commissioner Tunstall made a motion to accept the July 10, 2013 Minutes. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Womack, and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />2. Walgreens Development at Delmar Blvd and Delcrest Drive <br /> <br />Commissioner Wofsey introduced this item and asked for the presenter to proceed. Mr. Rhein Dabler <br />from Clayton Engineering, acting as the Walgreens Development’s Engineer, presented the requests <br />to approve the changes to the Traffic Code as a result of the construction of this project. The roadway <br />plans presented to the City of University City and St. Louis County include the installation of a traffic <br />signal at the Delmar Blvd – Delcrest Drive intersection, removal of a pedestrian signal at Delmar Blvd <br />east of Berick Drive, and the addition of left turn lanes at the intersection, which result in the need of <br />new parking restrictions. The proposed parking restrictions are on Delmar Blvd and Delcrest Drive. <br />This project was presented to the Traffic Commission back in July of 2011 and the Traffic Commission <br />was in support of the project in general. The relocation of the traffic signal from Delmar Blvd east of <br />Berick Drive to a complete signalized intersection on Delmar Blvd and Delcrest Drive (west) was <br />Traffic Commission Minutes – September 11, 2013 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
