Comprehensive Plan Committee Report <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Locke stated that three Plan Commission members were needed for appointment to each of <br />the Plan Commission committees. For the Code Review Committee, Ms. Locke appointed Mr. <br />Miller, Mr. Ruben, and Ms. Williams. For the Comprehensive Plan Committee, Ms. Locke <br />appointed Ms. Moran, Mr. Salamon, and Ms. Williams. <br /> <br />8.c. Council Liaison Report <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated that at the February 24 City Council meeting, the City Manager presented <br />the draft budget for Fiscal Year 2015 with a surplus of $60,000. She added that the State of the <br />City address would be on March 4 in Council Chambers. Ms. Welsch stated that the ribbon <br />cutting for Vanguard Crossing, a new multi-family residential development, would be held on <br />March 12. She stated she would be going to New York to speak at a panel at the United Nations <br />about sustainability and womens rights. <br /> <br />8.d. Department Report <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Lai stated that the Conditional Use Permit for the ground-floor, 24-hour diner in The Loop <br />was approved by City Council. He added that the St. Louis Chapter of the American Planning <br />Association would be holding its annual spring workshop on March 11 at 1:30 p.m. and that the <br />Plan Commission members were welcome to attend. <br /> <br />Mr. Lai introduced the new Manager of Economic Development with the Department of <br />Community Development Ms. Jodie Lloyd. <br /> <br />9.
