Council may want to go with a shorter extension and then bring back another extension request <br />with additional information. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert made a motion to approve the extension for the Conditional Use Permit for the Loop <br />Trolley for 60 days, seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: <br />Ms. Carr, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Welsch. <br />NAYS: <br /> none. <br /> <br />L. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS/BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Boards and Commission appointments needed <br />Mayor Welsch read the appointments that were needed. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Council liaison reports on Boards and Commissions <br />Ms. Carr stated that in anticipation of Marvin Levy Day she had had the pleasure of viewing a film <br />about the formation of the sculpture series that literally brought tears to her eyes. Artists and <br />citizens were engaged by making artwork in response to artwork and she was saddened by the fact <br />that she had not had the freedom to interact with the Arts & Letters Commission in the same <br />manner as Councilmember Levy. Ms. Carr stated that going forward her hope is that this type of <br />interaction would be reestablished because Mr. Levy had brought something spectacular to <br />University City. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch asked if anyone had the dates for the Annual Photo Show’s entry deadlines. Ms. <br />th <br />Parker-Castro stated that the deadline for the submission of entries is March 25, and the <br />th <br />exhibition, reception and opening will be held on April 13. Mayor Welsch stated that anyone who <br />was interested in obtaining the guidelines for the contest could do so by going to the Arts & Letters <br />website. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft stated that it has come to his attention that there is a Council meeting scheduled for April <br />th <br />14, which is the first night of Passover. Mr. Kraft then made a motion to change the date of this <br />meeting out of respect to many of the City’s residents, seconded by Ms. Carr. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked that the meeting be scheduled soon thereafter. Mayor Welsch suggested that <br />Council can discuss the date at the next Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Voice vote on the motion of Mr. Kraft carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch asked Ms. Pumm to look at possible dates between the fourteenth and the twenty- <br />eighth of April. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe advised the Mayor that his appointment to the Plan Commission had not been listed. <br />Ms. Pumm stated that it had been her impression that the appointment was not going to be made <br />at tonight’s meeting and therefore she had taken it off of the agenda. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Boards, Commissions and Task Force minutes <br /> <br />4. <br />Other Discussions/Business <br /> <br /> Ms. Carr and Mr. Crow – missing minutes from the February 25, 2006, Study/Special <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr stated that in the course of doing some research she determined that the minutes from <br />the February 25, 2006 Study/Special meeting could not be found. She stated that Ms. Pumm has <br />spent a good deal of time looking for them, and while they were able to find her handwritten notes <br />they were unable to locate the minutes. She stated that Ms. Pumm had also conducted an <br />th <br />extensive search in the subsequent minutes to see if the February 25 minutes had been approved <br />and she determined that they had not been. <br /> <br />
