RESOLUTION 2014-6 <br /> The matter of establishing a neighborhood improvement district in University <br /> Heights Subdivision Number Two was considered. <br /> After a review and general discussion of the matter, Councilmember offered the <br /> following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri, finds <br /> and declares as follows: <br /> 1. University Heights Subdivision Number Two (the "Subdivision") is a <br /> subdivision in the City of University City, Missouri. <br /> 4r <br /> 2. On April 16, 2014, a proper Petition for the creation of a neighborhood <br /> improvement district within the Subdivision was filed with the City Clerk. <br /> 3. The Petition was signed by the owners of record of at least two-thirds (2/3) by <br /> area of all real property located within the proposed neighborhood <br /> improvement district. <br /> 4. The project name for the proposed improvement is the "6900 Kingsbury <br /> Improvement Project". <br /> 5. The general nature of the proposed improvement is: <br /> a. The repair and replacement of driveway aprons, sidewalks, and curbs <br /> that are significantly damaged, non-functional or exhibit more than <br /> minor cracks (Cost estimated to be $25,000.00); and <br /> b. Milling and repaving of the north side of the 6900 block of Kingsbury <br /> Blvd. according to the City of University City Public Works <br /> Department's specifications and design standards for public property of <br /> this nature (Cost estimated to be $15,000.00); and <br /> c. Repair and relocation of the street light in front of 6925 Kingsbury; and <br /> engineering and inspection of all work to insure that required standards <br /> are met (Cost is estimated to be $5,000.00). <br /> 6. The total estimated cost of the proposed improvement is $51,000.00 <br /> 7. The boundaries of the proposed neighborhood improvement district to be <br /> assessed are as indicated on the attached map marked Exhibit A, attached <br />
