SESSION 1515 <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> April 2, 1990 <br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br /> bly Roam of City Hall on Monday, April 2, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus presided <br /> and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the y' <br /> following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron R. Price f' <br /> Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner b, <br /> Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> Mrs. Betty L. Thomson <br /> Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. <br /> Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes of March 12, 1990 as submitted. Mr. <br /> Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> a-MIMMILL54-13,FMENZIMEM <br /> Mayor Majerus moved the appointment of Mrs. Andrea Ratner, 7336 Northmoor, to <br /> the City Plan Commission for a term expiring January 1, 1993. Mr. Wagner sec- <br /> onded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Adams moved the reappointment of Mr. Daniel Godar, 7130 Maryland, to the <br /> University City Committee for Access and Local Origination Programming (CA1OP) <br /> for a term expiring September 9, 1992. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, <br /> which carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Adams moved that Mr. Acme Price, 8236 Balson, be reappointed to the Park <br /> Commission for a term expiring January 21, 1993. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br /> motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S._2EPORI. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR (THREE ITEMS) <br /> Bid for Breath Alcohol Analyzer (#1) . A bid of $5,940 was received from U. S. <br /> Alcohol Testing of America, Inc., for a new breath alcohol analyzer for the <br /> Police Department. This company is the sole source of this State- and court- <br /> approved machine, which will replace the used one obtained fram the State. <br /> Acceptance of the bid frau U. S. Alcohol Testing of America was recommended. <br /> Resubdivision - Beyers at Olive/I-170 (#2) . The City Manager concurred with <br /> (re the Plan Commission recommendation to approve a resubdivision of Lots 3 and 4 <br /> of Beyers Subdivision. The plat complies with all City ordinance requirements <br /> and will assist in the orderly development of this property. <br />
