SESSION 1512 <br /> (bie <br /> KENt7IES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> February 5, 1990 <br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br /> bly Roam of City Hall on Monday, February 5, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus presid- <br /> ed and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the <br /> following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron R. Price <br /> Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br /> Mr. &1 ert G. Wagner* <br /> Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoamer <br /> Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> *Mr. Wagner arrived at 7:40 p.m. <br /> Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. <br /> Mr. Schooner moved approval of the minutes of January 22, 1990, as submitted. <br /> Mrs. Schuman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office to recent Park Commission reap- <br /> pointees Mr. Wendell Campbell and Ms. Jen Jensen; and to Mr. Stephen Marsh and <br /> Mr. Arnold Kendall, who were recently reappointed to the City Plan Commission. <br /> Mayor Majerus thanked the Commission members for being willing to serve again, <br /> adding that they have all been valuable and contributing members of their re- <br /> spective groups. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> The City Manager noted that Consent Calendar Item No. 2, a recommendation to <br /> approve Plat No. 2 of University Place, has been moved to the regular agenda. <br /> { <br /> CONSENT CALENIMR (TWO ITEMS) <br /> Setting Public Hearing - Property Vacation (#1) . It was recommended that a <br /> public hearing be set for 7:30 p.m. on February 26, 1990 in the Council cham- <br /> ber to consider comments regarding the vacation of property on the southwest <br /> corner of Gannon and Old Bonhomme. The parcel is 35 by 40 feet and remains <br /> from previous street right-of-way vacations in the area dating back to 1950. <br /> The property has been used by the adjacent owner since then for yard purposes. <br /> Ar Glenco Building Subdivision - 6221 Vernon (#3) . The City Manager concurred in <br /> Ihme the Plan Commission's recommendation that the Glenco Building and Investment <br /> subdivision at 6221 Vernon be approved subject to satisfactory assurances that <br />
