} <br /> SESSION 1523 <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> June 18, 1990 <br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br /> bly Roan of City Hall on Monday, June 18, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus presided <br /> and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the <br /> following meanbexs of the Camcil were present: <br /> Mr. Byron R. Price <br /> Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> Absent: CO ncilmember Betty L. Thompson, who was excised. <br /> Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. <br /> MINUTES, <br /> May 16. 1990 <br /> Mr. Wagner moved that the minutes of the budget study meeting of May 16, 1990 <br /> be approved as written. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> Mav 21, 1990 <br /> Mr. Schooner moved adoption of the minutes of the regular meeting of May 21, <br /> 1990 as submitted. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> APPOINTMENT, REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Mr. Price moved the appointment of Mr. Mars Howard, 7046 Dartmouth, to the <br /> Committee for Access and Local Origination Programming (CAIOP) for a term ex- <br /> piring September 9, 1993. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> Mrs. Schuman moved that Ms. Linda Grabel, 530 Mapleview, and Mr. Larry Mickey, <br /> 7250 Greenway, be reappointed to the Library Board for terms expiring June 30, <br /> 1993. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Ms. Margaret M. Mooney, recently appointed to the Traffic Commission, was giv- <br /> en the oath of office by the City Clerk. Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Mooney for <br /> agreeing to serve the City, noting that this commission has more interaction <br /> with citizens than any other. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR (THIRTEEN ITEMS) <br /> (we Site Plan EXtension - U City Automotive (#1) .
