SESSION 1528 <br /> (re <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> September 10, 1990 <br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br /> bly Room of City Hall on Monday, September 10, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- <br /> sided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br /> the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> Absent: Mr. Byron R. Price, who was excused. <br /> Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. <br /> Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes of August 13, 1990 as submitted. Mr. <br /> Schooner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> Mrs. Schuman moved the appointment of Ms. Carol Jo (CJ) Foshage, 8027 Teas- <br /> dale, to the Library Board for a term expiring June 30, 1993. Mr. Wagner sec- <br /> onded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Ms. Elisa Nunnally Wang, 7166 Waterman, to <br /> the Board of Adjustment for an unexpired term ending July 7, 1994. Mrs Schu- <br /> man seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Ms. Maxine Goldstein, recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Uni- <br /> formed and Non-Uniformed Employees Pension Funds, was given the oath of office <br /> by the City Clerk. Ms. Jane McNeil, a recent appointee to the Tax Increment <br /> Financing Commission and Industrial Development Authority (who received the <br /> oath of office earlier) , was introduced to the audience and asked to stand <br /> with Ms. Goldstein. <br /> Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Goldstein and Ms. McNeil for their willingness to <br /> serve on these boards and commissions which are so important to the City. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT'S <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR (10 ITEMS) <br /> (we Library Loan Renewal (#1) .
