SESSION 1528 (re MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL September 10, 1990 At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- bly Room of City Hall on Monday, September 10, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- sided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. Mr. Robert G. Wagner Mrs. Mary V. Schuman Mr. Paul E. Schoomer Mrs. Betty L. Thompson Absent: Mr. Byron R. Price, who was excused. Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes of August 13, 1990 as submitted. Mr. Schooner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. APPOINTMENTS Mrs. Schuman moved the appointment of Ms. Carol Jo (CJ) Foshage, 8027 Teas- dale, to the Library Board for a term expiring June 30, 1993. Mr. Wagner sec- onded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Ms. Elisa Nunnally Wang, 7166 Waterman, to the Board of Adjustment for an unexpired term ending July 7, 1994. Mrs Schu- man seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. OATH OF OFFICE Ms. Maxine Goldstein, recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Uni- formed and Non-Uniformed Employees Pension Funds, was given the oath of office by the City Clerk. Ms. Jane McNeil, a recent appointee to the Tax Increment Financing Commission and Industrial Development Authority (who received the oath of office earlier) , was introduced to the audience and asked to stand with Ms. Goldstein. Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Goldstein and Ms. McNeil for their willingness to serve on these boards and commissions which are so important to the City.
