Mr. Schocaner seconded the <br /> motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING CORRECTION <br /> The City Manager said a public hearing was scheduled at 7:30 p.m. this date to <br /> consider comments on a Plan Commission and staff proposal to correct the Zon- <br /> ing Code by reinserting a section (on bulk regulations) that was inadvertently <br /> emitted in the last amending process. <br /> Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. There were no requests <br /> to speak, and the Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. <br /> Mr. 011endorff said a bill will be prepared to make the desired correction. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING/FENCES <br /> The City Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this date <br /> to consider citizen comments regarding a proposal that would allow appeals to <br /> the administrative staff on new regulations that require the finished side of <br /> fences to face outward. The Plan Commission approved the change by a 3-2 vote. <br /> Mayor Majerus declared the public hearing open at 7:37 p.m. No one asked to <br /> speak, and the Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br /> Mr. 011endorff said the City will prepare a bill incorporating the suggested <br /> change. <br /> LIAR LICENSE - NOBU'S, 8643 OLIVE BOULEVARD <br /> The City Manager said Nobu's Japanese Restaurant has requested a license to <br /> sell beer and wine by the drink in their new location at 8643 Olive. He noted <br /> that Nobu's has operated a fine establishment in University City, and approval <br /> of the license was in order. <br /> Mr. Adams moved approval, with Mr. Schooner seconding the motion. All voted <br /> Aye. <br /> *Mr. Wagner arrived at this time. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF POLICE UNIFORMS <br /> The City Manager said five local suppliers were invited to bid on the estimat- <br /> ed police officer uniform requirements for the 1990-91 fiscal year. Vendors <br /> were asked to submit firm prices on all clothing and leather goods for uni- <br /> formed officers to be measured and picked up on an "as needed" basis. The re- <br /> sponse was as follows: <br />
