SESSION 1532 <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> November 19, 1990 <br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br /> bly Room of City Hall on Monday, November 19, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- <br /> sided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br /> the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron R. Price <br /> Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoamer <br /> Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> Also present was City Manager Frank 011endorff. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr. Wagner moved approval of the November 5, 1990 meeting as submitted. Mr. <br /> Price seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> APPOINTMENTS, REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Mr. Adams moved the reappointment of Mr. Cloris Boyd, Jr., 8020 Braddock, to <br /> the Board of Adjustment for a term expiring July 7, 1995. Mr. Wagner seconded <br /> the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Adams moved that Mr. David P. Mastin, 7037 Tulane, be reappointed to the <br /> Board of Appeals for a term expiring August 1, 1995. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br /> motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Schooner moved that Council confirm the election of Mr. Johnson Lancaster, <br /> Progressive Emporium, 6265 Delmar, and Mr. Stewart Berger, St. Louis Bread <br /> Company, 6309 Delmar, to the University City Loop Special Business District <br /> Commission for terms expiring January 1, 1993. Mrs. Schuman seconded the mo- <br /> tion, which carried unanimously. <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> Mr. Charles Alphin, newly appointed to the Park Commission, and Ms. Dorothy <br /> Davis, reappointed to CAIOP, were given the oath of office by the City Clerk. <br /> Mayor Mayor thanked Mr. Aiphin and Ms. Davis for agreeing to serve, and said <br /> Council depends greatly on the boards and commissions for advice and counsel. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> (me CONSENT CALENDAR (FIVE ITEMS) <br /> Consideration of Bids for Turnout Coats and Pants (#1) .
