Session 1532, Minutes Page 7 November 19, 1990 (me Mr. 011endorff said the Kubota G2000 bid from Brinker does not meet bid speci- fications in that it is not heavy enough to handle the tasks for which it will be used, and the snow blade and bucket are too small. Also, golf course per- sonnel feel that attachments from the old Bolens tractor will not work proper- ly on a new tractor from another manufacturer. It was recommended that the bid of $9,975 from Erb Equipment Company be accepted. Mrs. Schuman moved approval, with Mr. Schocaner seconding the motion. All vot- ed Aye. PERSONNEL REPORT The Personnel report for the week ending November 17, 1990 was received and ordered filed. BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS BILL NO. 7981 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, AND ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION TO BE MOWN AS "SECTION 21- 126.3. PARKING OF CERTAIN VEHICLES IN A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY PROHIBITED." Prior to the second reading of Bill No. 7981, Mr. Schoomer moved that this bill be rejected. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. BILL NO. 7987 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED "HR" HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO "PA" PUBLIC ACTIVITY, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE ZON- ING CODE. Bill No. 7987 was given its second reading. Bill No. 7987 was given its third reading. Mr. Schoomer moved that this bill be adopted as an ordinance. Mr. Wagner sec- onded the motion. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmembers Price, Adams, Wagner, Schuman, Schoomer, Thompson, and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. Bill No. 7987 became Ordinance No. 5777. BILL NO. 7988 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-76 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-76. SCHOOL ZONES DESIGNATED," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH A SCHOOL ZONE ON JACKSON AVENUE FROM DELMAR BOULEVARD TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE NORTH LEG OF CORNELL AVENUE.
