SESSION 1600 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF ~}{E IA~I'v~qSITY CI'A~ COW3NCIL <br /> <br /> A~Just 16, 1993 <br /> <br />At a rec3ular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Coun- <br />cil (ban~ber of City Hall c~ Monday, August 16, 1993, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- <br />sided and called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. In anl~tion to the Mayor, <br />the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. B~A~z R. Price <br />Mr. Jose~ L. ~dmn~, Jr. <br />F~s. Mary V. Scbm~n <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />M_~s. Schuman ~3ved approval of the July 26, 1993, m/nutes as suetted. Mr. <br />Price seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved tha r~R~r,~ointment of Mr./~fchur Kramer, 7114 Waterman, to the <br />Board of Tru.e~ of the Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Pension Funds for a term <br />e)cpiring July 1, 1997. M/B. ~mpsc~ seoc~ the ~Dtion, and all vo~a Aye. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus said she was happy to announce that tba City's Finance Depart- <br />ment, and its outstana~ng director Willie Norfleet, have again received a <br />certificate for excellence in financial reportir~. Applause followed. <br /> <br />CONSENT (2~TA'NDAR (b'AVE £A'~) <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus asked that Item #4 on tba Consent Calera~v (Ga~-worth Condi- <br />tional Use Permit Extension) be removed since a citizen wished to address the <br />Council on the matter. It was so ordered. <br /> <br />Settin~ Public Hearing - Continental c~hle Franchise Renewal (#1]. It was <br />reo~Lmended that a public hearing be set for 7:30 p.m. Se~ 13, 1993, to <br /> <br />of Continental Cahlevlsion as the City's cable operator. <br /> <br />Bids for UndeAgAuund Tank Rem~)val f#2J.
