The. <br />3.Administrative items: <br />a.Minutes from theMarch 13, 2014, meetingapproved as amended; revisions made to Item 5 B. <br /> <br />4.Special Presentations <br /> - She <br />a.Green Ambassadorship Leesa Johnson, 417-849-0255, GreenAmbassadorship@gmail.com <br />has a strong desire to see Missouri become a more sustainable st <br />Greening which is the concept of creating a neutral zone of sus in the Loop District <br />area. For example, to only use energy or food that is created by renewable methods. She is <br />seeking input from the Green Practices Commission oncollaborationsthat would help the effort. <br />b.Green Zones Rose Jenkins - itemrescheduled for the June 2014 agenda. <br /> <br />5.New Business <br />a.GPC Meeting Location Change for May 8, 2014 <br />th <br />(1) Members voted to cancel the May 8meeting. <br /> <br />6.Old Business <br />a.Ecosystems/Habitat- Natives and Weed Code report by Dianne Benjamin <br />(1)Dianne reported that the draft Natives and Weed Code is ready to <br />review. Jared plans to review the draft and may have questions at a later date. <br />(2)Lynnette reported that the Bring Conservation Home article is sc <br />the May/June edition of the ROARS newsletter. <br />b.Energy Ordinance - update <br />(1)Jared received a response to his questions regarding the Energy Ordinance. He would like to <br />meet with Tim to get more clarification on the carbon and renewables sections. <br />c.Sierra Club- Beyond Coal Campaign - update <br />(1)Lois reported that there was not a formal response. <br />d.Prescription and Illegal Drug Disposal in U City update <br />(1)The take back event is April 26, 2014. <br />e.GPC Webpage update <br />(1)Lynnette will request a quote for assistance with the webpage re <br /> <br />7.Reports <br />a.Councilmember Glickert <br />(1)None <br />8.Closing Round <br />a.Jared Agee <br />(1)The energy management contractor, Trane Systems, recently came out and conducted an <br />audit of the energy management system and did not find any issue <br />b.Tim Michels <br />(1)Tim reported that he followed up on the email about Passive Haus. The company was just <br />sharing information. <br /> <br />
