He then suggested that the first meeting be held on Thursday, May 29 <br />Hearing no objections Mr. Kraft asked Ms. Pumm to identify the facility where the meeting will <br />be held and send out the proper notices. <br />3. <br /> <br />Boards, Commissions and Task Force minutes <br />4. <br />Other Discussions/Business <br /> <br /> Resolution 2014-09 Certified Election Results requested by Mr. Crow and Dr. Carr <br /> <br />Ms. Carr stated that when she returned from vacation on Saturday evening she found a packet <br />containing a notice of a Special Session which was held at 8:30 a.m. on the Thursday prior to her <br />arrival home. She stated that normally in the case of special sessions Council will receive a <br />polling to determine their availability on a certain date, but in this instance none was received. <br />Ms. Carr stated that she found out that the packets were delivered to the homes of Council <br />members Crow and Price, who received the packets hours before the meeting and therefore were <br />also unable to attend. Ms. Carr stated that she did receive an email from Mr. Price asking her if <br />there was a special meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning, however she had no idea what he <br />was talking about, because the notice went up on the sixth and she did not find out about it until <br />the tenth. She stated that if she had known 24 hours in advance she could have returned home. <br />She then asked Ms. Pumm why she had not contacted members of Council by email regarding <br />the Special Session. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated that she would like to be on the record as saying that the City’s Police <br />th <br />Department delivered notices to the homes of each Councilmember on Tuesday evening, May 6 <br />th <br />for a Thursday, May 8 meeting, which is proper notice. She stated that there is also an audio <br />recording of the packets being delivered. Ms. Carr stated that Mr. Price, who was in town, did not <br />th <br />pick up his packet until May 7. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow stated that his packet arrived at his home on Wednesday afternoon. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated that Captain Jackson’s records indicate that Mr. Crow’s packet was <br />th <br />delivered at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6; Ms. Carr’s packet was delivered at 4:43 p.m. on <br />th;th <br />Tuesday, May 6 and Mr. Price’s packet was delivered at 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
