SESSION 1588 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE EITY crlY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 12, 1993 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the audi- <br />torium of the University City Tahl-al'y ~ Mortlay, April 12, 1993, Mayor Janet <br />Majerus called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br />the following members of tba Council were present: <br /> <br />,Mr. A~ams arrived at the meeting at 9:05 p.m. <br /> <br />City Manager Frank Ollendorff arrived at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus said the City Hall Council C~amber was being used for a Civil <br />Service Board hearing and was not available for the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the March 15, 1993, minutes as suhnitted. Mr. <br />Schocmer seconded the motion, and all voted Aye except Mayor Majerus, who did <br />not vote since she was not present at that meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoceer moved the appointment of Ma. Marishka Szynwelski, 7353 Melrose, <br />to the Park C~u,dssion for a term e~piring Jam~a~y 21, 1996. Mrs. Schu~31 <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus moved that Mr. John A. Mlitfield, 7138 Pershing, be appointed <br />to the Civil Service Board for a term e~0iring April 7, 1996. Mr. Schoc~er <br />seconded the motion, and ell voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus ncrainated Mr. Robert Melville, 7191 Washington, as a member of <br />the Industrial Development ~nthority and Tax Increnent Financing Oa~u~ission <br />for an unexpired term er~g August 27, 1995. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion <br />and all vo~a Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff arrived at this time. <br /> <br />OATHS OF O~'~'ICE <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to new Park C~u~Hssion members <br />Ms. Jane Gibbons and Mr. Jerry Fitch, and to Ma. Joy Ta]ita Wade, new member <br />of the Municipal C~u~Hssion on Arts and Letters. <br /> <br /> <br />
