How-
ever, if the z~ning administrator does not witness the violatic~l and no other
witness is present, a ticket will not be written. If a continuing violation
is reportS, a police officer my be as~a to look into it.

Mr. Schocmer asked when the City will begin issuing tb~ permits that are part
of the ordinances just passed. Mr. OIlera_orff said the process will begin
the next day--application forms will be sat up and a decision made as to who
will receive the applicaticrs. Mrs. Schuman reminded truck-owners that they
will not be able park on the street during pzuhibit~9_ hours unless they have
a permit stating they have no other place to park.

Mr. Price askad Mr. Ollendorff to keep~~ pertinent statistics on tba new laws.

BILL NO. 8117 - AMMqDING (I~AFr~/< 34 M3N'/CIPAL (DEE Rk~AT/NG TO ZONING BY
(I{~NGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF c~ya~a~ PRDPEK~Y HER~'r~a< DES(P/Rku "PA"
PURTIC ACfIVI'I~ TO "GC" GMqERAL OC~a4BRCIAL, ~S SET FC~IM IN SEerION 34-9 OF

Mr. Gary Crabtree, 10425-27 Old Olive Street Road, said this bill fezones on-
ly the front half of the property. Citin~ a potential use, he circulated
drawings showing where his client would like the line drawn, and suggested
tabling action until the March meeting. Mr. Ollendorff said all have agreed
the property north of the line described in the bill should be zoned "GC"; no
action is suggested at this time for the area south of the line. That leaves
the applicant free to sukm~t a plan when one is ready. Fa suggested adopting
the bill as written. There was further discussion and Mr. Schoc~er said con-
trol over use and easements by a particular user is retained through the site
plan. Mayor Majerus agreed with Mr. Ollendorff's suggestion.

Ma. Brenda Walker, 7405 AP_mDse, asked about plans for the property. The May-
or said no plans have been submitted, but wban they are they must be approved
by Council. Responding to Ma. Walker, Mr. Ollendorff said a public hearing
on submitted plars is not read ned, bet be thought Council would ai~ect him
to notify neighbore. Ma. Walker said any kind of develuia~ent in that space
would inpact the neighborhood since the soutb~ufn end is not fenced, and she
wanted to be certain the City will protect the adjoining neighborhoed.

Bill No. 8117 was given its seccra reading.

Bill No. 8117 was given its third r~ading.

Mr. Price moved that this bill be adopted as an o~.
