Mayor Adams said that we will probably <br />know more after the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer stated that Council policy has been that if there is not a majority of adjoining <br />property owners agreeable to taking over the land vacated, then it is not done. <br /> <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS #2 NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams stated that the resolution stating the improvement costs and estimated <br />assessments for the 6900 block of Washington improvements needed Council approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR FRED MISHOW: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams stated that Fred Mishow, a long standing resident of the City, a man who <br />served on the Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority, and who contributed countless <br />hours of community service as well as being a City icon died this passed week.
