VOTE REQUIRED L.UNFINISHED BUSINESS BILLS 1.BILL 9232 -An ordinanceamending Schedule III of the Traffic Code, to revise traffic regulation as provided herein. 2.BILL 9233 -An ordinance amending Schedule III of the Traffic Code, to revise traffic regulation as provided herein. 3.BILL 9234 - An ordinance amending Chapter 505 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to streets and sidewalks generally, by repealing Section 505.030 thereof, relating to use of public streets for recreational purposes, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 505.030 for special use purposes”, thereby amending said section so as to create a special use permit process for the use of public streets, boulevards, alleys or other public thoroughfares for special events. 4.BILL 9235 - An ordinance fixing the compensation to be paid to City Officials and employees as enumerated herein from and after July 1, 2014, and repealing ordinance No. 6945. 5.BILL 9236 - An ordinance amending Section 2.62.630 of the University CityMunicipal Code, relating to the Police and Firefighters’ retirement system –investment accounts, and enacting in lieu thereof a revised section to be known as “Section 2.62.630 Police and Firefighters’ retirement system –investment accounts”. This amending will resolve ambiguities in the language of this section to reflect the original intent at the 2001 transitionto a Hybrid Retirement Plan, to grant vested participant employed on May 1, 2001 (or otherwise provided for vested participants reinstated after such date), the option to remain in the Defined Benefit Plan or to transfer to the Hybrid Plan, and to provide that all participants vested after that date would automatically participate in the Hybrid Plan upon completing ten years of vesting service.
