Ames Place, informing him of the accidents that used to occur before the construction of <br />the roundabout and their pleasure with the fact that closing the south side of Trinity has <br />now made it safe to cross the street. He would agree with the expertise of the <br />professional engineers. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe stated that he had come prepared to vote on this issue tonight without any <br />provocation. While he basically agreed with many of the points made by Mr. Kraft, his <br />belief is that delaying this issue for one month would not make a lot of difference and after <br />listening to Ms. Mohr he would like to have the opportunity to explore their proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert stated that it was his understanding that when symmetry was brought up by <br />the Historic Preservation Commission that it was related to the lights and had nothing to <br />do with concrete pavement. Mayor Welsch stated that her belief is that the word <br />symmetry related to the fact that in the Historic Preservation Commission’s opinion was <br />that the full design had to be symmetrical. <br /> <br />Voice vote on the amended motion to postpone this item until the next meeting carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />L. BILL 9230 <br /> - An ordinance amending schedule III of the Traffic Code, to revise traffic <br />Per the request of Mayor Welsch the Ordinance <br />regulation as provided herein. <br />was read for the second and third time. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert made a motion to approve Bill 9230, seconded by Dr. Carr. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Jennings, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Dr. Carr and Mayor <br />Welsch. <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Bill Number 9230 carried unanimously and became Ordinance number 6960. <br /> <br />2.
