Session 1779 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 3, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, April 3, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the study session minutes from March 20, 2000. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the regular session minutes from March 20, 2000. Mr. <br />Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - DAYS OF REMEMBRANCE: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams noted that this year's theme was "The Holocaust and the New Century: The <br />Imperative to Remember". The Days of Remembrance are from April 30- May 7, 2000 <br />and has been setup in memory of the victims, the survivors and their liberators, of the <br />Holocaust. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - ARBOR DAY: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams noted a proclamation in honor of Arbor Day, which is on April 28tn this year. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
