MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL February 5, 2007 At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, February 5, 2007, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: Ms. Stefany Brot Mr. Byron Price Mr. Robert Wagner Ms. Lynn Ricci Mr. Michael Glickert Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. Also in attendance were the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier, Deputy City Manager/Finance Director Ms. Janet Watson and Mr. Mike Williams from Hochschild, Bloom & Co., University City’s audit firm. MINUTES The amended minutes of January 18, 2007, Special Council Session were moved for adoption by Mr. Price, seconded by Mr. Glickert and approved unanimously. The amended minutes of January 22, 2007, Council Study Session were moved for adoption by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. The minutes of January 22, 2007, Regular Council Session were moved for adoption by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and approved unanimously. APPOINTMENTS Claire Medol Hyman was sworn in as a new member of the Arts and Letters Commission. Judith Baernstein was nominated by Ms. Ricci to the Urban Forestry Commission, seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. Ted Slegesky was nominated by Mr. Glickert to the Urban Forestry Commission, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. John Starbenz was nominated by Mayor Adams to the Parks’ Commission, seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. RESOLUTION 1. Comprehensive Plan Update The comprehensive plan update resolution was continued to the next Council meeting on February 26, 2007. 2.
