i I I BILL NUMBER 1243 ORDINANCE NUMBER 1153 AN ORDINANCE EXPRESSING THE CITY'S DESIRE TO TAKE AND APPROPRIATE A PRIVATE SEWER TO BE INCORPORATED INTO AND MADE PART OF NORTH AND SOUTH JOINT SEWER DISTRICT SEWER SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ASCERTAIN AND DETERMINE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION TO BE PAID FOR SUCH PRIVATE SEWER AND TO SUBMIT IN WRITING DETAILED REPORT THEREOF TO THE BOARD OF ALDNR". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF"AbER10N OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, KISUUBI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City of University City, desiring to take and appropriate a private sewer and incorporate the same into and make it a part of NORTH AND SOUTH JOINT SEPJER DISTRICT SEWER SYSTEM in said City, the City Engineer is authorized and directed to ascertain and determine the proper amount of compensation to be paid for such private sewer and to submit written detailed report thereof to this Board of Aldermen, said private sewer to.be taken and appropriated by said City for sewer pur- poses is described as follows: A culvert across Cornell Avenue, a private street (as laid out in the Plat of ,Vest University No. 3 Subdivision of the City of University City, Missouri) at a distance of One Hundred Fifty (150) feet West of the best line of North and South Boulevard, con- structed of vitrified segment block 51 inches in diameter, approxi- mately Seventy (70) feet long; also a culvert across Stanford Avenue, a private street as laid out in the above mentioned plat, at a dis- tance of One Hundred Fifty (150) feet West of the West line of North and South Boulevard, construoted of vitrified segment block 54 inches in diameter, approximately Seventy (70) feet long. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor Passed this 1lday of A. D. 1925.
