/ 7 o I AN ORDINANCE FOR THE WIDENING OF NANLEY ROAD AS A PUBLIC HIGHWAY FROM THE CITY LIMITS OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, ON T1TE SOUTH TO OLIVE BOULEVARD ON THE NORTH; DIRECTING THE CONDEMNATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY THEREFOR; ESTABLISHING A BENEFIT OR TAXING DISTRICT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR THE M~ER OF PAYMEIqT OF BENEFITS ASSESSED ~GAINST PROPERTY ESpECTAT.LY Bh~EFITED IN THE BENE- FIT OR TAXING DISTRICT HEREIN ESTABLISHED, AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS THEREFOR IN THE CIRCUIT COURT, COEPNTY OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEt~M~ OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Sec. 1. HArtlay Road, as now laid out, from the Southern Olty limits of University Olty to Olive Boulevard, is hereby widened and established aa a public highway, the East and West lines thereof with respect to the center line of Hanley Road as now laid out to run and be as follows: The West line of the heroin proposed Hanley Road from the Southern City Limits of University city to the North line of the Private Right of Way of the City and Suburban Public Service Company, in Pershing Boulevard, shall be fifty feet (50'} perpendicularly distant west of and parallel to the present center tl~e of Said hi-~iWay~ n s et r · perpendicularly distant East of and parallel to the present center line of said highway. The West line of the herein proposed highway from the North line of Pershing Boulevard as now laid out West of Henley Road to a point perpendicularly distant West from a point in the present West line of Henley Road one hundred forty-two and twenty-three hundredths feet (14E.23') South of the intersection of the present West line of Henley Road with the present South line of Kingsbury Boulevard shall be fifty feet (50') perpendicularly distant West of and parallel to the present center line of said highway; there is also in- cluded within the limits of the heroin proposed highway a triangular tract of ground, being part of Lot 29 of Central Suburbs, having a dimension on Klngsbury Boulevard of One hundred seventy-four and twelve hundredths feet (174.12'), on Hartlay Road, as now laid out, one hundred forty-two and twenty-three hundredths fee~ (14B.B3'), and on the third side One h~uadred and ninety-eight hundredths feet (100.98') perpendicularly distant from Hartlay Road to F~lngsbury Boule- The East line of the heroin proposed highway from the North line of Pershing Boulevard, as now laid out, East of Hanley Road to Washington Avenue shall be thirty fee~ (30') perpendicularly distant East of and parallel to the present center line of said highway.
