Lot. Land occupied or to be occupied by a building, unit group of <br />buildings or dwelling group and accessory buildings and including as a <br />minimum such open spaces ~s are required by this article ~_m~ having <br />frontage either on a street or on an officially epproved place. <br /> <br />Lot are~. The total horizontul area within the lot lines of a lot. <br /> <br /> Lot. corner~ A lot frontlag on two or more streets at their inter- <br />section. <br /> <br /> Lot, reversed cc~ner. A corner lot the side street line of which is <br />substo~tially a continuation of the front lot line of the lot to its rear. <br /> <br />Lot, interior. A lot other than a corner lot. <br /> <br />Lot. throuah. Zn interior lot having frontage on two streets. <br /> <br />Lot lines. Lines boundlag a lot, as defined herein. <br /> <br /> Lot depth. The horizontal distance between the front and roar lot <br />lines, measured along the median between the two side lot lines. <br /> <br /> Lot width. The hori ~mtal distance betwean the side lot lines, measured <br />at right angles to the lot depth at the required front yard line, or if no <br />front yard is required, then at the street line. <br /> <br /> Nonconformin~ buildinK. A building or structure or portion thereof <br />lawfully existing at the time of the adoption of this chapter which was <br />designed, erected, c~ structurally altered for a use that does not conform <br />to the use regulations of the district in which it is located. <br /> <br /> Nonconformin~ use. A use which lav~ully occupied a building or land <br />at the t~r,e of the adoption of this chaptar and which does not conform <br />with the use regulations of the district in which it is located. <br /> <br /> Parkin~ area. ~rivcte. An open area, other than a street or alloy, <br />used for the parking of the automobiles of occupants of a dwelling. <br /> <br /> Parkinn area. ~ublic. An open area, other then a private parking area, <br />street or alley, used for the parking of automobiles and available for public <br />or quasi-public use. <br /> <br /> Parkinn s~ace, automobile. Space within a building or a private or <br />public parking area for the parking of one automobile. <br /> <br /> Ptac.o. An open unoccupied space other than a street er alley permanently <br />reserved as a principal means of access to abutting property. <br /> <br /> <br />
