Section 902.l. Business, etc., for which license required: Every per-
<br />son, firm or corporation, their lessees: trustees or receivers appointed by any
<br />court whatsoever, engaged in any business, occupation, pursuit, profession or
<br />trade, or in the keeping or maintaining of any institution, establishraent, arti-
<br />cle, utility or cu~odity, in this article and chapter specified, shall procure and
<br />pay for a license therefor from., the city, and such license fees shall be in the
<br />respective amounts set out in this article and chapter (except as otherwise pro-
<br />vided by ordinance).

<br />this chapter for ~erclmnts, except that the minimum license tax shall
<br />be $30.00 per year. Any person, firm or corporation licensed as a
<br />restaurant or soft drink establishment for the first ti~e prior to
<br />tile first of July of any year shall be subject to the minimmu charge
<br />of $30.001 for any such business license for the first time on
<br />
