Session 1790 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />August7,2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, August 7, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the approval of the regular session minutes from July 24, 2000. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - MAYOR PRO TEM: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams read a resolution which designates Paul Schoomer Mayor Pro Tem until April <br />2002. Ms. Colquitt moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Ms. Linda Thompson, 7024 Pershing, to the Library <br />Board for a term ending June 30, 2003. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Ms. Rhonda Staton-Harper, 6771 Vernon, to the <br />Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for a term ending January 2, 2004. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved the appointment of Mr. Theodore Lee, 7166 Hazelwood Lane, to the <br />Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for a term ending January 2, 2004. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
