<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI,

<br />City Missouri, relating to licenses and busines~ regulations, i~ hereby
<br />
<br />amended by enacting therein a ne~ article to be known a~ "Article IX-A. FEE
<br />
<br />SCEE~E FOR CERTAIN BUSINESSES AND OCCUPATIONS" and oroviding for the
<br />
<br />licensing of certain described businesses consisting of ad)usters and
<br />collectors~ agents or solicitors for any surety comoanies~ advertising
<br />
<br />agent% amusement ticket brokers, building companies, claim agents, coopera-
<br />
<br />tire insurance agents, insurance agents, insurance brokers, insurance
<br />
<br />solicitors, intelligence and emplo3~ent agents and office keeper~ thereof
<br />
<br />lumber agents, lumber brokers~ manufacturers' agents, merchandise broker, s
<br />
<br />nurseries and nurser3~nen, produce brokers, produce deeler,~ real estate
<br />
<br />reel estate brokers~ rental agent~ bankers~ banking cor0orationn,
<br />
<br />bonding companies, brokerage comashies, finsncfsl agestag insurance companie~
<br />
<br />of whatever clas~ or character, investment companies,. lenders of money
<br />
<br />on chattels and chattel muttgage% loan agents. loan camDenies, surety
<br />
<br />companies, trust companies, providing e .che~ule for th~ oa~ment of an
<br />
<br />annual license fee as provided on the basis of the number of employees
<br />
<br />employed in certain busines-.es~ defining the word "emnloyee$' so that said
<br />
<br />article, as so enacted. shall read as follows:

<br />ARTICLE II-A. FEE SCHEDULE FOR CERTAIN BUSINESSES
<br /> AND OCCUPATIONS.
<br />
<br /> ~ction .18-20,1. Liqense required. Every oerson, firm or coDoration
<br />engaged in any business, occupatioB, pursuit, professlos or trade~ or in
<br />the keeping or maintaining of any institution, establishment, article,
<br />utility or comadirT specified in this article shall orscure end pay for a
<br />license therefor from the City, and such license fees ~hall be in the
<br />respective amounts set forth herein.
