BILL NO. <br /> <br />7332 <br /> <br />INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GLICKERT <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5165 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 5085, PASSED <br />MAY 8, 1978, KNOWN AS THE URBAN REDEVELOPMENT <br />ORDINANCE SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE ACQUISITION OF <br />PROPERTY BY AN URBAN REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />FROM THE LAND CLEARANCE FOR REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY IN THE MANNER AND <br />UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SPECIFIED IN THE <br />LAND CLEARANCE FOR REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY LAW <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SeCtion 1: Ordinance.5085, passed May 8, 1978, <br /> <br />known as the Urban Redevelopment Ordinance, is hereby amended <br />so as to add thereto the following provision authorizing an <br />Urban Redevelopment CorpOration to acquire property from the <br />Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of University City <br />in the manner and under the terms and conditions specified in <br />the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority law, which such <br />provision shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding the provisions of Ordinance 5085, <br /> an Urban Redevelopment Corporation may, as a <br /> redeveloper under the provisions of the Land <br /> Clearance for Redevelopment Authority law, <br /> acquire property, by purchase or lease, <br /> from the Land 'Clearance for Redevelopment <br /> Authority of University City, in the manner <br /> and under the terms and conditions specified <br /> in said law. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and <br />be in force from and after its passage. as provided by law. <br /> <br /> Passed this 23rd day <br /> <br /> ./ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> lerk <br /> <br /> City At~6 ~ne~ <br /> <br />April ..... , 1979. <br /> <br /> <br />
