Rates and charges for commercial <br />establishments may be negotiated based on criteria such <br />as volume, single point billing, type of business, etc. <br />Such commercial and bulk residential rates shall be non- <br />discriminatory among categories of subscribers. <br /> <br />There will be no installation charge for Cinemax, Cine- <br />vue and Home Box Office when installed with basic <br />service. Initial installation charges will be waived <br />during construction and for a period of 30 days after <br />area activation. Installation rates may be, from time <br />to time, eliminated or lowered for marketing purposes. <br /> <br />A converter will be supplied by the Company to all sub- <br />scribers to "Basic Service" with no deposit required. A <br />block converter or cable antenna switch will be supplied <br />to any subscriber to the "12 channel tier" where neces- <br />sary to alleviate reception problems caused by direct <br />pickup interference or inability of the subscriber's <br />television set to receive properly the channels, with no <br />deposit required. The converters will be repaired <br />and/or replaced at no charge provided the subscriber is <br />not grossly negligent in the use of the Company owned <br />converter. <br /> <br />There will be no charge for any resident, institution, <br />organization or other non-commercial entity to use Com- <br />pany studios, equipment, training programs or other <br />access related services. Rates for leased access <br />channels will be negotiated with users and then filed <br />with the City as a matter of public record. Not- <br />for-profit organizations or institutions requesting <br />leased access channels to provide a community service <br />will be charged a nominal rate. For-profit organi- <br />zations and corporations will be charged on the basis of <br />number of subscribers reached at a cost plus formula, or <br />a set fee for amount of time the channel is used. <br /> <br />48 <br /> <br /> <br />
