INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER METCALFE BILL NO. 7578 ORDINANCE NO. 5374 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AND AS FURTHER AMENDED BY ORDI- NANCE NO. 5104 ENACTED AUGUST 28, 1978, RELATING TO ZONING, BY REPEALING SECTION 34-37.5 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-37.5 SITE PLAN APPROVAL REQUIRED," SO AS TO DELETE INDOOR COMMERCIAL AMUSE- MENTS AND COIN-OPERATED GAMES FROM SITE PLAN APPROVAL IN A s LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City (University City Zoning Code) divides the City into several zoning ? districts, and regulates the use to which the premises located therein may be put; and i WHEREAS, Section 34-37.5 thereof provides for Site Plan Approval Required; and 4 i 3 WHEREAS, a public hearing was scheduled to be held at 8:00 P.M., on the 21st day of March, 1983, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, concerning the deletion of indoor commercial amusement and coin-operated games from Section 34-37.5 Site Plan Approval Required; and - WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly -held, and all suggestions or objections concerning said change in said Section were duly heard and considered b the Council. y unc 1. t s NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- SITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: 3 Section 1 . Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri, relating to Zoning is hereby amended by repealing Section E 34-37 .5 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5104, enacted August 28, 1978, i relating to site plan approval and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 34-37.5 Site Plan Approval Required," by amending said section so as to delete indoor commercial amusements and coin-operated games from site plan approval in a Limited Commercial District , relating to the same subject and re-enacting said sections so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: is 34-37.5 SITE PLAN APPROVAL REQUIRED The Council may authorize any of the following uses after a site plan review is completed as provided in Section 34-69, subject to such protective restrictions and conditions that the Council may deem necessary:
