INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER METCALFE t; <br /> BILL NO. 7598 ORDINANCE NO. 5394 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES <br /> AND TRAFFIC BY REPEALING SECTION 21-115 THEREOF AS <br /> AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4779, ENACTED MARCH 26, 1973, <br /> RELATING TO MAXIMUM SPEEDS OF THIRTY MILES PER HOUR ON <br /> CERTAIN SECONDARY THOROUGHFARES� AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br /> THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-115. <br /> THIRTY MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON CERTAIN SECONDARY <br /> THOROUGHFARES" BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO CHANGE <br /> CANTON AVENUE FROM WALDRON AVENUE TO EIGHTY-SECOND <br /> BOULEVARD TO CANTON AVENUE FROM WALDRON AVENUE TO HANLEY <br /> ROAD AND FROM NORTH & SOUTH BOULEVARD TO EIGHTY-SECOND <br /> BOULEVARD; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, relating to motor vehicles and traffic by repealing Section <br /> 21-115 thereof as amended by Ordinance No. 4779, enacted March 26, 1973, <br /> relating to maximum speeds of thirty miles per hour on certain secondary <br /> thoroughfares and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as <br /> "Section 21-115. Thirty mile per hour speed limit on certain secondary <br /> thoroughfares" by amending said section so as to change Canton Avenue from <br /> Waldron Avenue to Eighty-Second Boulevard to Canton Avenue from Waldron <br /> Avenue to Hanley Road and from North & South Boulevard to Eighty-Second <br /> Boulevard, relating to the same subject, and re-enacting said section so that <br /> said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> Section 21-115.
