From and after Aug. 24, 1983, initially payable Sept. 9, 1983, <br /> P <br /> the Battalion Chiefs of the Fire Department shall receive a bonus payment for the <br /> eight legal holidays of the City and in lieu thereof for part of Christmas Eve, <br /> in accordance with the following: <br /> In Pay Grade Per Holiday Per Christmas Eve <br /> 18F 849 $23 <br /> Section 6. From and after Aug. 24, 1983, initially payable Sept. 9, <br /> 1983, the commissioned personnel in the Police Department, but excluding the <br /> Chief and Assistant Chief, in the pay grades shown, shall receive a bonus payment <br /> for the following days: Memorial Day (last Monday in May) , Independence Day , <br /> (July 4) , Labor Day (first Monday in September) , Veteran's day (November I1) , <br /> Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November) , part of Christmas Eve (December <br /> 24) and Christmas Day (December 25) ; in accordance with the following schedule: <br /> In Pay Grade Per Holiday Per Christmas Eve <br /> 12P 842 $21 <br /> 16P 45 22 <br /> 18P 49 23 <br /> Section 7. From and after Aug. 24, 1983, the commissioned personnel <br /> in the Police Department, but excluding the Chief and Assistant Chief, shall <br /> receive two (2) personal recreation days, per year, in lieu of the bonus payment <br /> for the following two (2) City holidays; New Year's day (January 1) and George <br /> Washington's birthday (third Monday in February). Both personal recreation clays <br /> must be taken in the calendar year granted or shall be forfeited. <br /> Section 8. A) From and after Aug. 24, 1983, initially payable Sept. 9, <br /> 1983, the commissioned Police personnel excluding the Chief, in the pay grades <br /> shown, shall receive compensation for five years consecutive City service, <br /> excepting military leave of absence, in their present classification in the <br /> following amounts, from the sixth (6th) year through the tenth (10th) year: <br /> In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 12P 844 <br /> 16P 49 <br /> 18P 54 <br /> 21P 65 <br /> 6 <br />
