• <br /> Section 10. From and after Aug. 24, 1983, initially payable Sept. 9, <br /> 1983, employees in the classification of Battalion Chief, who receive and main- <br /> tain through the State of Missouri an Emergency Medical Technician License and <br /> serve on ambulance calls while on duty, shall receive the following <br /> compensation for an EMT license or an MEMT license: <br /> Pay Grade EMT Monthly Amount MEMT Monthly Amount <br /> 18F 845 887 <br /> Section 11. From and after April 20, 1983, all full-time employees <br /> shall have their hourly rate computed as follows: <br /> 1. The hourly rate for all full-time employees who, <br /> according to Section 4, have a set or average work week of <br /> 40 hours, shall have their hourly rate computed by multi- <br /> plying the monthly rate by 12, dividing that product by <br /> 2,080. <br /> 2. The hourly rate for full-time uniformed Battalion <br /> Chiefs of the Fire Department according to Section 4 have <br /> an average work week of 56 hours, shall have their hourly <br /> rate computed multiplying the monthly rate by 12, dividing <br /> that product by 2,912. <br /> Section 12. Ordinance No. 5389, and all ordinances in conflict here- <br /> with are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 13. It is herby declared an emergency exists in that this <br /> ordinance is to be effective after Aug. 24, 1983, an initially payable Sept. 9, <br /> 1983, and that this ordinance is necessary for implementation of that payroll. <br /> Section 14.
