3 <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY <br /> BILL NO. 7618 ORDINANCE NO. 5414 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE , <br /> OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR <br /> VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 <br /> THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5392, ENACTED <br /> JULY 11, 1983, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND <br /> ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br /> "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTIONS--VEHICLES TO STOP <br /> AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO <br /> AS TO ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS FOR LAFON PLACE AT EAST <br /> DRIVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> f <br /> Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, relating to Motor Vehicles and Traffic is hereby amended by <br /> repealing Section 21-82 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5392, enacted <br /> July 11 , 1983, relating to stop intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a <br /> new section to be known as "Section 21-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to <br /> stop at certain intersections," by amending said section so as to establish <br /> stop signs for Lafon Place at East Drive, relating to the same subject, and <br /> re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 21-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain <br /> intersections. <br /> The following street intersections are hereby designated as "stop <br /> intersections" for certain entrances thereto within the meaning of <br /> this Chapter.
