INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER BILL NO. 7622 ORDINANCE NO. 5418 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82.1 THEREOF, RELAT- ING TO TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5377, ENACTED APRIL 11, 1983, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82.1 TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS," BY PROVIDING FOR THE DELETION OF PRETIMED SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF BALSON AVENUE AND PURDUE AVENUE, AND GROBY ROAD AND 81ST STREET; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. f s BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: 5 Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City,y, relating to motor vehicles and traffic is hereby amended by It repealing Section 21-82.1 thereof, relating to traffic control signals, as amended by Ordinance No. 5377, enacted April 11, 1983, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21-82.1. Traffic control signals, " by providing for the deletion of pretimed signals at the inter- sections of Balson Avenue and Purdue Avenue, and Groby Road and 81st Street; relating to the same subject, and re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Section 21-82.1. Traffic control signals. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to operate his vehicle in violation of the traffic control signal legend, within the meaning of Chapter 21, Section 21-10, at the designated places hereinafter set forth. Pretimed signals: { It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to operate his vehicle in violation of the legend for the following pretimed signals: Balson Avenue and Hanley Road Big Bend Boulevard and Delmar Boulevard Big Bend Boulevard and Kingsbury Boulevard Canton Avenue and Midland Boulevard Delmar Boulevard and Innerbelt Delmar Boulevard and Jackson Avenue Delmar Boulevard and Midland Boulevard Eighty-first Street and Olive Boulevard Eighty-second Street and Olive Boulevard Ferguson Avenue and Olive Boulevard Forsyth Boulevard and Big Bend Boulevard Forsyth Boulevard and Asbury Avenue Forsyth Boulevard and Bland Drive Hanley Road and Canton Avenue Hanley Road and Delmar Boulevard Hanley Road and Midland Boulevard Hanley Road and Olive Boulevard Hanley Road and Pershing Avenue Hanley Road and Shaftesbury Avenue Harvard Avenue and Delmar Boulevard Kingsland Avenue and Bartmer Avenue Kingsland Avenue and Delmar Boulevard Kingsland Avenue and Enright Avenue
