INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER <br /> BILL NO. 7637 ORDINANCE NO. 5433 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO, <br /> ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AN OFF-SYSTEM <br /> BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION AGREEMENT, HEREIN <br /> CALLED "AGREEMENT," WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAY AND TRANS- <br /> PORTATION COMMISSION, HEREIN CALLED "COMMISSION," THE <br /> COUNTY OF ST. LOUIS, HEREIN CALLED "COUNTY," AND THE <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN THE <br /> STATE OF MISSOURI, HEREIN CALLED "CITY"; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND <br /> PAPERS REQUIRED FOR THE EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF E <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Manager of the City of University City is <br /> hereby authorized to enter into, on behalf of the City, an agreement with the <br /> Commission and the County. Said Agreement contains certain duties and obli- <br /> gations as set forth in the contract and provides for the rehabilitation of <br /> the bridge over River Des Peres on Kingsland Avenue from Etzel Avenue to g <br /> Chamberlain Avenue, and the bridge over River Des Peres on Kempland Avenue <br /> approximately 0.1 mile east of Woodson Road. <br /> Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all <br /> necessary documents and papers required for the consummation and execution of <br /> this said Agreement. <br /> Section 4.
