From and after June 27, 1984 initially payable July 13, 1984, employees in the classifications of Fire Captain and Firefighter, who receive and maintain through the State of Missouri an Emergency Medical Technician License and serve on ambulance calls while on duty, shall receive the following compen- sation for an EMT license or an MF.MT license: In Pay Grade EMT Monthly Amount ME14T Monthly Amount 11A Firefighters $33 $71 16A Fire Captains $41 $84 Section 7. From and after June 27, 1984, initially payable July 13, 1984, employees, in the classification of Firefighter, who work in the position of Captain, shall be paid, in addition to any other compensation due that employee, Fifteen Dollars (-$15) per shift. Section 8. From and after June 27, 1984 initially payable July 13, 1984, employees , in the classification of Fire Captain, who are designated to work and do work in the position of Battalion Chief, shall be paid, in addition to any other compensation due that employee, Twenty Dollars (-$20) per shift. Section 9. From and after June 27, 1984, all full-time employees shall have their hourly rate computed as follows: The hourly rate for full-time Fire Captains and Firefighters who according to Section 2 have an average work week of 56 hours, shall have their hourly rate computed multiplying the monthly rate by 12, dividing that product by 2,912. Section 10. Ordinance No. 5417, and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 11. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as provided by law.
