INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS <br /> BILL NO. 7656 ORDINANCE NO. 5452 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO OFFENSES - <br /> MISCELLANEOUS AND ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION TO BE <br /> KNOWN AS "SECTION 23-43. PROHIBITION OF GLASS BOTTLES IN <br /> THE PUBLIC PARKS OF THE CITY," AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 23 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, relating to Offenses - miscellaneous is hereby amended by <br /> t <br /> enacting therein a new section to be known as, "Section 23-43. Prohibition of <br /> f <br /> glass bottles in the public parks of the City," reading as follows: <br /> Sec. 23-43. Prohibition of glass bottles in the public <br /> parks of the City <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation <br /> to bring into any of the parks of the City of University <br /> City any glass bottles . Glass bottles as used in this <br /> section shall mean any bottle made of glass and used for <br /> the delivery of soda water, soda pop, root beer, non- <br /> intoxicating beer, and intoxicating liquor. <br /> Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision <br /> of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty <br /> provided in Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City. <br /> Section 3.
